RETIRED ART TEACHERS
Welcome to all you RETIRED art teachers! The Idaho Art Education
Association has created a new RETIRED ART TEACHERS division in the
organization. That includes you! The really nice part about this is twofold:
-1 Retired members can come to the conference for ONLY THE COST OF
THEIR MEMBERSHIP which is a gentle $30 annually; that means, if you
didn't get the significance of #1 yet...
-2 You can attend/enjoy the conference FREE each year. The Board
believes that we can enrich our annual meeting by attending and
participating with all the other members of IAEA.
Heather Hanlon has agreed to sponsor the group as we get it started; a time
slot will be selected during the Fall Conference where we can meet and
decide how all of us would like to proceed.
Suggestions for our IAEA functions include: assisting with/presenting
conference presentations, helping the Board with some of the many
needs/duties during the conference, mentoring new members, and
developing a strong and friendly group of retired professionals through
enjoyable, relaxed, and warmly social get togethers. If our 2011 conference
is held in Boise again, Heather will host an open house with beverages and
munchies to get us started.
Please send your name address, email, and telephone number to her right
away whether you can attend the conference or not. That way you will get
the most up-to-date information about what we are doing. She can be
